PROGRAMME
club 10
Delivered in partnership with Families Outside
Club 10 aims to strengthen relationships between inmates at HMP & YOI Grampian and their families, through sport and creative activities.
The programme is delivered by Denis Law Legacy Trust and Families Outside, in partnership with the Scottish Prison Service and Action for Children. The sessions take place during children’s visits at HMP & YOI Grampian.
Streetsport staff run activities for all ages and abilities from badminton to mini golf and bowling, encouraging positive interactions for families to help maintain strong relationships.
Additionally, Club 10 peer support sessions take place once per month and engages families affected by imprisonment in activities in their local communities around Aberdeen City to reduce social isolation and introduce children and young people to peers in similar circumstances. Club 10 is, like all Denis Law Legacy Trust programmes, entirely free of charge and includes transport and snacks for those participating.
For more information or any queries, please email Kiana Coutts, Denis Law Legacy Trust’s Streetsport Development Outreach Officer, k.coutts7@rgu.ac.uk.
