Triumphant quiz night fundraiser held at Inn at the Park
Over £5,000 was raised at a Denis Law Legacy Trust fundraising event on Friday night.
The quiz night, held at Inn at the Park in Ferryhill, featured eight rounds of general knowledge and a hugely competitive tussle between a host of top teams.
A raffle and several donated auction items combined with some amazing generosity from those who attended helped ensure the night was a huge success.
McWilliam Aberdeen kindly provided food for a BBQ on the evening which was a perfect tonic for the night ahead too.
‘Brems +1’, the team from local firm Grampian Continental, came out as champions with Taxassisters United of Tax Assist and Eddie Quizzard of J&E Shepherd rounding off the top three.
The Trust would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped to organise the event. From Bob Bain of Hall Morrice and his whole team, to Dave Macdermid, McWilliam Aberdeen, and of course Inn at the Park for their superb hospitality. Huge thanks also to everyone who attended and the businesses who donated raffle and auction prizes.
