Walking the Speyside Way
UPDATE: Challenge complete! Alistair has raised over £2,200 and completed the Speyside Way during a beautiful week in May.
Three old pals are preparing to trek 65 miles through the Highlands this month as they fundraise for the Denis Law Legacy Trust.
DLLT trustee Alistair Findlater and his two friends, Raymond and Colin, will walk the Speyside Way between May 13 and 17.
Speaking about the arduous adventure, Alistair said: “I would be very grateful for any small contribution towards the Denis Law Legacy Trust as the charity provides free sports sessions for children in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
“Your contribution would be much appreciated and will sustain me as I drag my old, weary bones from Aviemore to Buckie”.
As he says, any contribution will be more than gratefully received!
You can follow Alistair’s progress plus donate here.
The Speyside Way runs between Buckie on the shore of the Moray Firth and Aviemore towards the Caingorm Mountains with towns such as Grantown-on-Spey and Fochabers running through.
If you’d also like to fundraise for the Denis Law Legacy Trust, knowing that the funds will go directly towards making a real difference to the charity and all involved, please do let us know!
